We’ve already talked about How Yorkshire Sport Foundation engaged 282 disabled people in sport and activity and about Creating Connections, a Yorkshire Sport Foundation project that helps disabled people to get active.

Yorkshire Sports Foundation hired us to run a Facebook Ad camapign to engage disabled people, and each month we focus on engaging people living with a different condition, so last month we focused on physically impaired people. We targeted both male and female audiences aged 35+ using Facebook interest targeting in order to get the message to the right people. Some of the physical impairments targeted were Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Rheumatoid Arthritis and more.

The physical impairments campaign ran for 4 weeks, targeting people 35 years of age and older at 4 different geographical locations in Yorkshire.

The results were great as we got 26 people registered for Creating Connections in a month.

One interesting point was that we were able to reach almost 6 times more women than men.
