We’re very pleased to be able to bring you the new and improved Promoting Activity photo library. It has 450 new high-resolution photos of activity available to you for free. This takes the total number of photos to over 650.
We’ve also added a new user interface and keyworded every new photo to make it easier than ever for you to find the perfect photo.
This photo shoot was done by an incredibly talented photographer called Jon Parker Lee. His work has previously been featured in The Independent, The Sun, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mirror, the Manchester Evening News and others. He spent 2 months this year travelling round the North West photographing local, real people doing activity. This huge photo shoot is now available to you and anyone else promoting physical activity to use for free.
We’ve tried to capture a wide range of people taking part in activity, with a deliberate focus on normal, everyday people from all walks of life. Model release forms were signed by everyone captured in these photos, so you can use them in any format you want.
We know there are still gaps in our library – particularly around disabled people and some BME groups, so we will carry on with more photo shoots in the future to fill these gaps.
