The fabulous Inclusive Fitness Initiative has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Directory of Social Change Awards 2009. There were over 300 entries with three finalists being shortlisted in each of the four awards category .
The IFI is a finalist in the ‘Influencer Award’ category. The award recognises an organisation or individual who has campaigned for change by getting several groups to work together to achieve what may appear impossible. The award acknowledges the determination and hard work required to communicate clearly, put forth a persuasive argument and win people over to bring about positive change.
They need your support to help them win the award as well as further recognise the achievements of IFI Mark Accredited facilities and the work carried out within the fitness industry to get more disabled people active and change people’s lives for the better.
